There are a mere handful of “Trophy” restaurants in the Valley and this one is truly First Place and First Class all the way. I grew up in the Valley and have many fond memories dining here with my parents in the past and with my own children in present day. Astonishingly, quality of food and service has never changed , been compromised, nor been better than they are today.
Nestled in a quiet area of the Valley and slightly off the main artery , you are quickly taken back in time, with the feeling of a French Country Inn and Hunting Lodge. There are 60 seats in the main dining room and outdoor seating for another 6 to 8 comfortably. White table cloth service, old woods, French fabrics, marble and beautiful antiques transport you to your favorite European destination for a fraction of airfare alone.
A type 47 license is used in the service bar , which can be expanded to a full service bar with the removal of only one booth. The bar area is toward the back of the restaurant and its expansion would be an instant success with the local trade and surely lead to a sharp increase in revenue. The wine list is expansive with liquor and wine accounting for approximately 20% of sales.
I have visted , and owned, many restaurants in my time and this is one of the cleanest and best maintained that I have ever had the pleasure to visit which reflects the pride of ownership and commitment to quality, of the proprietors. What can I say? This is a turn key profitable No Brainer for a sophisticated owner that wants to carrier on the legacy of a Valley institution and make money while doing it. Good six figure profit and more to be had with a little elbow grease and innovation.
